At this year's Arizona State Fair, four SPOT 127 East students took home ribbon awards from the Photography Exhibition. The following were the awardees:
- Andrea Perez, "The Bass" - 12th Grade Advertising/Marketing - First Place
- Nya Villaverde, "Power Off" - 12th Grade Photo Story - Second Place
- Barabara James, "Cat Portrait" - 10th Grade Studio Portraiture - Third Place
- Leah Gunter, "Bass" - 11th Grade Advertising/Marketing - Third Place
